What You Learn when you Travel Alone


...Solo Travelling

You realize how the World isnt as bad as we see on the media.
People arent as bad as they portray them to be.
When you place yourself at an unfamiliar environment,
You notice how people are ever so kind and generous.
They are caring by nature.

Just like you and I
The people we get to meet along our travel,
are just going on about their journey in life as peacefully as they can.
They carry the burden of their ambitions and responsibilities,
just like you and I.
They carry their hopes on their shoulders,
Love in their full or broken hearts
to be Strang along by their Wild Wandering Souls.

Travelling alone
makes you aware of the kindness of strangers.
It's a beautiful tragedy
and a mysterious longing after an encounter,
knowing you may never cross paths again...

In that very moment of realization,
is where you were immersed in the moment of the exchange of words,
that small encounter,
and that you wished to have looked at that stranger for the last time,
to remember the nicks and cracks of their face, for you will never see it again.

This goes with places you visit.
Rocks and Trees you will come to ignore often.
When you Travel Alone,
Your hands  run wild,
they want to touch and feel every texture of the place,
The buildings, the lamp post.

When you travel alone, a part of your body leaves,
The old you left and the New you rose,
You know better now,
You've learnt new things, seen new things
and met new eyes.
You are a little more experienced and soulful.
That person you will come to fall in love with.
So Travel Alone,
Travel alone for Adventures
and Encounters that will never repeat again.
Your eyes will be different after seeing the sun on the other side of the world.
So Travel Alone

  Aurora Borealis "Northern Lights of ICELAND"  5 days before 02.03.2016. I just woke up wanting to go to ICELAND and I did. I had my doubts, both financial and the old "overthinking" but " I'd rather lose Money than lose Time" So I booked a flight, hotel and all the tours that I could do in 3days. Expensive? Solo Travel in Nepal 2017 Nepal, My First Solo Travel of 2017. Main Places I stayed Thamel | Kathmandu | Pokhara | Poon Hill Trek My 14 day trip out to Nepal, without a plan but to be with nature, trekking up a trail and welcoming myself into the New Year with a first sunrise of the year at the peak of my trek. Short Teaser Adventure Film Thamel and Kathmandu offered alot of attractions Such as Pashupatinath Temple | Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) Boudhanath Stupa |  Durbar Square | Bhaktapur | Narayanhiti Palace Museum | The Garden of Dreams Pokhara offered a lively days and evening on towards New Years, There was an on going festival in New Years of 2017 I spent my few days in Pokhara to roam around, getting to know the locals and having a chilling moment at this beautiful, serene lake.
